A Simple Class in VB.Net

I am very new to VB.net and would like to create a simple class to join the first and last name together. Can anyone show me how to do that? I've read through some books, but they usually give long drawn out programs which makes it difficult for me to see exaclty whats going on. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
